It is one of the low cloud and height ranges from near the ground to 2000 meters. The shape is like block, flake or layered. The cloud volume is relatively flat, the width is greater than the height, and sometimes it can be roller-like or like a checkerboard arrangement. The shape of the cloud is obvious, and most of it is composed of small water droplets, so the sunlight is not easy to penetrate. The cloud bottom often appears dark and gray and the cloud top looks brighter. Stratocumulus clouds have the characteristics of stratus and cumulus clouds. They are often derived from cumulus clouds in summer. Therefore, occasionally, there will be short-term heavy rains, but they will turn into continuous rainfall in the later period, and the rainfall intensity will be slightly weaker.
